Abstract

We are delighted to bring the third volume of International Journal of Advanced Thermofluid Research (IJATR). The objective of IJATR is to publish up-to-date, high-quality and original research papers alongside relevant and insightful reviews. The journal aspires to be vibrant, and accessible, and at the same time integrative and exigent.

Thermofluid research is the application of experimental and/or modelling techniques with the aim of understanding the interactions between thermodynamics, heat transfer and fluids. Thermofluids is the basis for many current technologies and physical phenomena, and it directs various activities where energy is generated, converted or exchanged. In spite of multi-disciplinary areas, researchers’ attempts have focused on energy conversion systems, renewable energy sources, alternate fuels, fluidic behavior as well as physical process modelling and optimization. Other resources also include solar-photovoltaic modules, hydrogen fuel cell systems, units for desalination and various sensors, data acquisition and control modules. We cordially invite submissions from researchers in academia and industry on relevant research areas of IJATR.

We would like to thank all the authors for their excellent contributions to the present issue, and all the reviewers for their suggestions and decisive comments. We also expect that this issue will stimulate the continuing efforts to intensify the thermofluids research.

On behalf of the editorial team,

Dr. Lakshmi Praveen Pogula
Associate Editor, IJATR
